I'd like to introduce my new series of mixed media works entitled "Milagro Beastie Icons"

These beastie icon images are based on symbolism from North American myths and stories. Sometimes they touched with a bit of whimsy and sometimes they can be quite serious but I always allow the viewer to come to their own conclusions. The construction combines lovely old silver dishes, found metal objects (patina with rust and paint) and an original watercolor sealed with a UV protective varnish.

The first 5 creations sold out at my November exhibit at Bohem Gallery and I'm currently working on more!
