My husband and son also create in the garden. They are both mechanically inclined and have built some beautiful iron sculptures and birdhouses. They run through the half-acre garden with weed wackers, power saws and lawnmowers while I work the details. My garden is a place of renewal. It helps me unwind and create. I go outside
from my studio everyday when I'm home to play with the plants and my cats,
sister & brother Sweet Azalea and Frank. The garden elements are just another medium, you
know, instead of paint and paper we create with dirt, flora and stone.
